We were on a road trip from Ohio to Florida and stopped here as a halfway hotel. The staff was very polite, and the rooms were very clean. The service was outstanding. I felt as if I was sleeping on a cloud, it was SO GOOD! I loved it, and I was very well-rested to finish my drive the next day........5 star.....This is forever my favorite hotel and will most likely hold a spot in my heart for the rest of my life. I have a new perspective on life now all thanks to this Mircotel! Good prices too.
This is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in(very clean!). The man at the front desk is friendly and welcoming. The beds extremely comfortable! The water pressure and water temperature is phenomenal! Will definitely stay again!
The employees from the clerks to the house keeping was really nice and did their job well. The only thing I asked for was paper plates lol. I'm not a needy person so they had the necessities I needed. Keep my room cleaned and they all were very polite. This isn't a 5 ⭐ hotel so it was fine. I think the room should've been just a little bigger but that's just my thoughts. I would stay here again if I was back in town and needed a cheap place to stay. I didn't pay btw I was staying here for school so the school paid for stay while there.
The front desk young lady around 6pm was a true sweetie.. And super patient with being from Ohio she helped me out with my decision and THEN she put me in one of the remodeled room which was perfect and very calming. I'll make it a point to stay there if I'm traveling from Ohio to Florida again. Don't be confused by the beginning landscape on the way to the back for the hotel. It was great I had no issues and I was traveling solo. And use to 5 Star hotel's lol this was very close due to them remodeling. I left pleased the breakfast was a glorified grab and go to me. But I slept well too continue to Ohio... You'll be fine, I was an I'm bougie
We stayed here for our son’s graduation from Fort Jackson. Location was perfect with easy interstate access. Great front desk staff! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was great with lots of options. Very affordable rates as well.
Everything was great until morning... When you realize how often the walls are... The rooms were clean and comfortable. The heat and AC able to be adjusted for comfort. Parking was okay though small trucks with trailers were blocking all of the front spots.

She called me back personally with updates about my reservation, which honestly made me feel like more than just another customer. Her attention to detail, patience, and genuine kindness were exactly what I needed. Christina is truly a godsend, and her level of care sets the gold standard for customer service. Thank you for making my experience so smooth and memorable!
The hotel was purchased a couple of years ago by TMC and underwent major changes including obviously a change to management. It is very much improved over what it used to be. It is very well run, clean, efficient, and serve a nice breakfast. It is only a few blocks from Interstate 77 and has adequate parking. I would thoroughly recommend it for a very reasonably priced, nice hotel if you are passing through or are looking to stay for a few days in Columbia.
